FAQ Wooden Name Signs - Name Plaques

Wood vs plastic for decor?

There are two main reasons why wood is better than plactic for decor. Wood is generally more sustainable for the enviroment than plastic based products (some plastic is still used to pack and send) this means that the carbon foot print is both lower and the ability to bio-degrade or recycle the product is much higher once it does reach the end of its life. Wood also has a beautiful natural look which lends itself to many different decor styles without dating as easily.

How do I fix a name sign/plaque to the wall or door?

Each name sign is really light weight so they are easy to hang. Easy remove 3m velcro strips or blutack work for a non permernant placement. For a more permernant solution double sided tape (foam tape for slightly heavier signs) or glue can be used. When using tape or velcro strips cut the piece to size with sissors so it will be hidden behind the sign when it is hung. Place the adhesize onto the name plaque first and then place it onto the wall.
